The March 27, 2009 Moonlight Hike to the top of Mt. Ralston trip was a great adventure - all except the moon forgot to come up that night. Oh Well, better planningnext time. All seven of the snowshoers summited the peak. Not one drop of wind was felt. It was so still we could have taken a nap on top. It was good we returned without delay as the "new adventurous route" turned out to be just that - AN ADVENTURE It was so sunny and warm the snow began to turn slushy and on the steep side hills became a bit to mess with. We did eventually cross our ascen tracks and headed home.Great day had by all... brad
